Solar Eclipse
« on: January 07, 2011, 03:48:13 AM »
A partial solar eclipse has taken place over Europe, the Middle East, Russia and northwest China on 4th of January.
The eclipse was greatest over northern Europe, with spectators in Slovenia seeing as much as 67% of the sun's disc blacked out.
Here are two photos of partial solar eclipse which I taken on that day.

You are very lucky. It has been a long time since I have seen one in person.

Nice shot.

This was mine second solar eclipse. I saw total solar eclipse here in Slovenia 11th of August 1999. Very impressive. I cant find photos of that day. I will posted if I find them.

I posted this site before

I already have plans for Aug 17, 2017. I remember in 1995 telling my students this would not happen for a long time.
Now it is just 6 years away.  I was in my third year of teaching- now I am at 20 years.  Time flies
