Anybody else see this error message when they try to view their station information page? I can still see my data page, but when I search for my station ID EW4941 to see my Quality Control page, I get a page that pops up that says, "We are in the process of moving to a new system. The database move turned out to cause problems. Please be patient...".

Anybody know much about this? Like I said, data is still passing through and I can still view all my data on my CWOP page here

And at the bottom you'll find "Data Quality", which gives you this..http://mesowest.utah.edu/cgi-bin/droman/regress_database_top.cgi?stn=E4941
Forget Gladstone.

It's been nearly a week since his database issue. It shouldn't take a week to fix a locked table as he said it is. A few hours is normal, even a day or two I can understand, but not almost a week...

unless they are writing new software and loading data, and finding errors and gliches. then having to go back and fix them before going live.  Be patient.

Now over a week. I sincerely hope that's true aardvaark, but doubtful.
In all seriousness, Gladstone's stuff is kind of the backbone of the CWOP - even Mesowest's QC graphs rely on using his stuff from appearances since it hasn't been showing MADIS errors since it went down. With that much data and that much reliance, he needs more professional help or consider integrating it with Mesowest's stuff, or something....

Any IT professional knows for critical stuff like that you don't play with a production machine for this very reason - if he would have followed best practices, if something went wrong with the new machine, he could just switch the old back on until he figured out the issue and we wouldn't be here. Now, with that said, I could be totally wrong and something else happened. Just going by what I know.

But fingers crossed it is fixed by the end of this weekend.

You might say I have suspicious mind now days,   a few days after I started questioning accuracy of one of the ASOS stations after you could clearly see where a change occurred it went down. Coincidence maybe, I sure hope so.
