WMR100 not recieving signals
« on: December 17, 2008, 09:41:12 PM »
My WMR100 quit receiving sensor information this afternoon. (It is still showing inside temp) No power loss before, or warning.  We have been having inclemant wx (snow and 25 & 30 F) here but has not been an issue before. The unit has been up since last April.
I did numerous resets of the base unit, as well as replacing batterys and resetting wireless sensor and resetting base. I followed Oregon Scientifics trouble shooting paper. Nothing.
Any ideas?
Thanks

Darcy,

If it's at all possible try taking your external sensor a little closer to the console, it could be that the distance is a problem, especially if the weather is cold. When renewing batteries in external sensors, replace with Lithium they work better at lower temperatures.

If that fails it sounds like your sensor has had it. I'm waiting for Oregon to replace the Anemometer for my WMR100 after less than a year.
