How to turn off TOA Google Pro items of 'interest'
« on: June 28, 2017, 07:29:16 AM »
In TOA's presentation of strikes, Google Pro starts, and zooms to my location.  I've searched all over the toolbars and cannot find any check box to turn off the very annoying and confusing little boxes, that, when hovered over, give some cemetery or church or points of what some people may call of-interest or who knows what.

Of course there are hundreds on the map and make looking for the strikes, which are my only item of interest, very difficult.

These little boxes are sort brown and blue colored, and when hovered over, the identifying text tells what the 'interest' of that location is, but again it is of no interest to me.

I've seen a lot of maps that have overlays that one can toggle certain things on and off, but it's driving me batty to not be able to shut this junk off.

Anyone know how to do this?  It must be obvious and  I'm just over looking it.
Thanks for any hand-holding.  Dale

On the top menu View > Sidebar

On the bottom of the sidebar you can pick and choose what Layers to show.

Thanks a million, it was driving me nuts and as I said it was obvious once you know.  Sanity is (partially) restored.
I appreciate it. Dale
