Lightning captured with Hi-speed Video Camera

I haven't seen this link posted on the WXFORUM but thought members would be interested in viewing this video. It is taken in Brazil with two high-speed cameras shooting at 70,000 & 40,000 frames per second.

I have seen those before but slowed way down. Still cool to see though.
As for the upward reaching leaders I thought that was common knowledge.
A short Google search showed a couple vids of strikes from the ground up.
Maybe they were just saying that an upward reaching leader was never filmed with a downward reaching one.
The blues had a baby and they named it Rock & Roll
