Arizona Monsoon 2015 A Season in Review

The 2015 Monsoon is officially over while it ranks slightly above average at Sky Harbor with 3.29 inches here at Pepper Ridge North Valley it was the 2nd driest at only 1.15 inches  :sad: details can be found at the following links.

To say the least it was a :sad: disappointing year in North Phoenix

A similar story out here in the far east valley, my total for the monsoon was 1.4" with the 7th of August being the wettest day with 0.38".  On the plus side I don't have any grass or heavy water use vegetation so I didn't have to spend a lot to keep everything growing and I didn't have too much of a fight with the weeds this year.

Here in Tucson I received 4.55", normal is 6.08" at the airport which got 6.63". I think the NW side really cleaned up this year, certainly better than me.

NOW you can see & know "why?" it's NOT a good idea to assume/believe the rainfall amounts posted by NWS actually applies to where YOU might live...i.e.: Your Rainfall Amounts Will Vary (YRAWV)!
