Geraldo meets Ike
« on: September 13, 2008, 12:10:44 AM »
So I just saw geraldo, live at 11pm on the beach (I'm guessing in or near galveston).

As he's getting blown around and doing the broadcast, one of his buddies runs up with a hand held anemometer and shouts "127mph", which G repeats to the camera.

Can a human being stand up (unaided)  in 127MPH winds???

I'd consider the source...  ;)

Considering much lower winds will blow a person around, I'd be skeptical it was anywhere near 127mph...

My Toyota Tundra will do 110 MPH. My son has agreed to help me test this out tommorow with one of us driving and one of us in the bed of the truck, trying to stand up.

Where's my two headed quarter?.....

Geraldo's always been a fool.  Human, I'm not so sure about.
