Rain in Dayton Ohio

I just got this Acurite Rain Gauge & Thermometer, we got some rain over the past couple of days, a good test of the placement of the gauge and we did get a bit of rain, in some parts of the Miami Valley there are flood warnings.... [ You are not allowed to view attachments ]

The National Weather Service announced that we got 2.89 inches of rain, I was close... :-|

I live up in Miami County and measured 4.16 inches for the entire rain event. Lots of flooded farm fields up here!

It's been a rainy fall in Oklahoma and even rainier in Texas.  For October it rained 4.13" here.  Average is 3.21".
