hi,  just picked up a reecom 1630c weather radio,  going to program my county for the same code, which is kx150.  radio has 6 spots and says that none can be left blank.  each spot is only a number 0-9  would anyone here happen to know do I use the 150 on first three spots and 0's on next three, or 0's on first three spots and the 150 last?  have email into reecom, but figured someone here might have done this already.   thanks.

I think that you are confusing the SAME code with the station ID. By the way, that is KXI50, not KX50...

Here is a coverage map for your county and station KXI50: http://www.nws.noaa.gov/nwr/coverage/site2.php?State=MN&Site=KXI50

The SAME codes are set by county. You appear to be in Lincoln county from my lookup of Ivanhoe, MN on Google maps.

Consequently, you will want to enter 027081 for your SAME code.

Code: [Select]
Lincoln 027081 Russell KXI50 162.500 ALL
I found this at: http://www.nws.noaa.gov/nwr/coverage/ccov.php?State=MN

If you search the page for "Lincoln" you will see the number.

Thanks! I was on a page with that map coverage, but it was not showing the same code numbers yours did. I appreciate your help!
