WS-2000 Rain Rate Method Has changed!
« on: March 30, 2019, 07:58:17 AM »
This is an announcement to let WS-2000 users that with the latest Revision Firmware 1.4.0 the Weather Underground uploading method for Rain Rate has changed. The WS-2000 now does instant rain rate just like all prior and current Ambient Weather station models. Basically this used to be a difference between the WS-2000 and the WS-2902A, but now they are the same.

Where as before you would see this:

Now you will see this instead (yes these images are of the same rain event, same single rain gauge captured by two consoles into different WU IDs):

See this thread for more information on how it used to be.

For me at least this was the only reason I kept my WS-2902A still as the WU uploaded. Now I can retire the WS-2902A...or put it in another room and disable WU upload.
