AirLink No public sensor data available
« on: May 12, 2022, 11:50:52 PM »
Hi, I purchased an AirLink sensor recently to complement my Vantage Pro2. I can see my air quality index data on my mobile app and weatherlink.com bulletin page, but nobody else can. The station summary page has an AQS section but simply says : No public sensor data available. any ideas where i'm going wrong?

So others can see the normal VP2 data but not the AQI? is your WeatherLink network set to Public? or Private?

Correct, but oddly there is now an AQS section, just not providing data publicly.   Both the Weatherlink and Airlink are set to public.

The Airlink is not configured to be a standalone system.

Is your Device Environment (Device Settings) set to "Outdoors"

Also what is your AQI under Unit measurements set to? Australia NEPM?

No, it's set to Indoors, but yes, its set to Australia NEPM.

Will it not publish data if its set to indoors? for 'privacy'.

Unsure exactly what the intended difference (apart from the obvious) is between Indoors & Outdoors but if you change it to "Outdoors" you should see data?

Privacy concerns, no indoor readings are made available publically. I guess you can infer occupancy from the readings.
