Nothing wrong with that...we all have to start some place. My first sta. was a ambient WMR 968.  I had  that setup for about 4 yrs but got tired of replacing the thermo hydrometer every 6 to 8 mo.  Been w/ Davis for 2+ yrs now and I'm very happy with it.
