Title: Humidity plummets
Post by: Old Tele man on October 10, 2017, 01:06:58 PM
Awoke this morning to see this picture (below) about last night's weather, a huge RH drop, obviously a front movement through our area.

Yup, I went from low 40's dew to upper teens in about an hour.

Any big change to the barometric pressure when the front came through?

No change to barometer, but there was a small jump-up in temperature (green line added for alignment):

I don't really think it was a front, temp never changed, no wind shift, no pressure change. Just some dry BL air that moved in from the west.

I bit of fall in Houston after yesterday record highs. Wind shifted from South over the Gulf to NNW bringing much lower humidity and cooler temps.
