Hi

I have been displaying worldextreams with no problem for a long while, yesterday I noticed an error message which I can't figure out which has stopped the script displaying any data.

Has anyone had the same issue and if so, what was the fix.

Hi Ian,
this error means it was unable to load data from the ogimet site. I just checked the source and it works, however the ogimet page has always been very slow and I think it is getting slower and slower and question is how much slower it can get before it is unusable. At times Ive seen response times of over 20 seconds even when you go directly to ogimet.com and look from there.

I would hope this was only a temporary glitch. Is it still not working now?

You could also try installing the meteotemplate world extremes plugin, which uses the same data source, so if that fails too it would suggest there is a problem in the communication between your server and ogimet.

Thanks for the reply Jachym, I'll have a go at adding the plugin over the weekend to Meteotemplate, in the meantime I've taken the link off my Saratoga menu.
