Well this morning I am seeing a message saying "Table './weather_watch_com/smf_messages' is marked as crashed and last (automatic?) repair failed", so I guess something big has failed and we will need Chris to sort it.

Hopefully it wont be that bad. I remember last time he said he already took some measures so that this does not happen again and the site has been down several times since then and it was only a matter of a few hours to put it back up.

I sent a note to Chris (administrator) about the issue last night.  He said he'd work on the resolution in the evening UK-time.  Still have the issue at this time.
