Envoy 8x on Meteohub
« on: July 10, 2014, 01:15:10 PM »
As soon as my Raspberry Pi arrives, I am going to load up Meteohub and connect the Envoy 8x to it. Is there anything special that is needed for the 8x, or will all of the reporting sensors show up in the configuration screens in Meteohub?

You have to do the initial configuration of the envoy8x (define stations, transmitter IDs, rain bucket sizes, windcup sizes, etc) with the Davis program on your PC. After that it is just click-and-play on Meteohub.

I did all that in WDTU, so it should be automagical..

The Raspberry Pi Model B arrived today including the extra goodies from SparkFun.

I snapped it into the Pi Tin (fits perfectly), loaded up the SD card with Meteohub and away we go!

Having fun configuring different graphs combining the Davis and RM Young wind sets. Running it via the Envoy 8x as planned.
