SLOweather banner cam broken, new one in testing
« on: January 20, 2018, 06:26:47 PM »
I was hoping that a hard power cycle would fix the SLOweather cam which appears on my website and in my sig. I made a site visit a couple of days ago, but no joy.

I located an identical model camera and uploaded the broken camera's configuration. It's in testing now, so you may see odd images on my banner. I'll try to get it replaced next week.

BTW, those old Panasonic PTZ cams are great. I had another one of the same model, downloaded the config file from the old one and uploaded it to the replacement and it all works. Of course, it also changed the IP address, so I had to remotely kill the old cam with a new IP power strip I installed so I could get to the new one.

I really wasn't looking forward to redoing all of the presets for the banner...
