I recently found, purchased, and installed a fast, lightweight weather app on my Android phone. "NOAA Weather" (paid) by graniteapps.com. It would be really nice to find a PC equivalent. I queried the vendor and they said that they do Android/iPhone only - no PC.
Anyone familiar with the app and aware of a PC counterpart?
I was using Wunderground but it is painfully slow. Stations in my area are often down or report doubtful observations. Depending on which networks it's plugged into, I imagine that the Android app may use some of the same stations that are on Wunderground but that's not visible to me. (Yes, ignorance is bliss.)
In any case, I'd like a clean, simple WX application for my PC. A "paid for" variety without ads, irrelevant images, and inane factoids.
Thanks,

Run your Android app on Win7 under Bluestacks. I've run many apps like that. https://www.bluestacks.com/ (Yes, I know it is mainly for gaming but it is good for other graphics apps)

I just installed Bluestacks. Who knew you could run Android apps on a PC. Awesome.
