Topic: why was Arlo thread locked?

I'm interested in the arlo script mentioned by redlynr but see the thread was locked.

It may not have been locked by a moderator.  The person that started the thread has the ability to lock the thread they started. They just click on Lock Topic and done.

sorry - just saw this post today.

I took my Arlo web cam down (due to privacy issues), but yesterday I put it up at a different location.   It successfully took snapshots every 5 minutes for close to 24 hours, but then had some sort of problem and I had to reset the camera.  It's working again.

I did apply for a WU web cam, but I noted that each snapshot must be less than 150K.  I cannot control the size of the snapshot, and the size varies by the amount of daylight.  So I'm sure it will sometimes be more than 150K and WU probably won't accept.

This may explain why WU is only capturing a couple of my images a day (although it seems like one daytime and one nightime). I just turned down the picture quality in the hope that will reduce the picture size.
