This would be great to get involved with but unfortunately it looks like as far as the US goes, it is limited to the western part of the country. Unless I read it wrong...

   There has been a computer project on World Community Grid using the BOINC project software for some time. I couldn't do it in the past because it used too much of my computers resources, so I did a protein folding project.

ADDED:  World Community Grid:   www.worldcommunitygrid.org

    I checked the current projects and the only one going there is an African climate project, so the one from before is inactive right now.
