Sea Fog and King Tides
« on: January 23, 2015, 10:29:16 AM »
I happened to have my camera with me yesterday when I was driving to work.  We have beautiful displays of sea fog at sunrise every now and then....  And I never have my camera.  Yesterday I did.  I took a few images and a short video.  I was not proud of the quality at all because I had to rush it and the lighting was not as spectacular as it can be.  I was late to work and had to rush it.  I decided to share it at the last minute.  I have been getting quite a few responses about it.  Our weather guru in the Pacific NorthWet did a blog about the sea fog as well as "King Tides" that we have this time of year.  I thought this might be interesting for folks who have not seen sea fog or are aware of the impact of the barometer on predicted tides.  Here is the blog: http://cliffmass.blogspot.com/2015/01/sea-fog-and-lowered-king-tides.html

Thought I'd Share,

Greg
