Davis VP2/USB Data Logger/ Meteobridge **solved**
« on: October 27, 2018, 12:04:31 PM »
All,

I recently set up my davis station with the USB data logger pushing to the meteobridge and out onto the internet. I'm hoping to get clarification on a few items.

I've read about the different intervals for logging data-and how long that data will be around before it gets overwritten. How does one adjust that? I presume right now its logging at the shortest interval to push out to the internet.

The reason I ask is because I live in FL and frequently lose power-either for a brief period of time or up to a week during the recent hurricanes. I'd like to not lose that data by writing over it. If a storm is coming and i anticipate losing power/internet for a week, should I, or am I able to adjust the log rate so I can keep the data from the storms?

See here for logger logging before it over-writes   http://www.wxforum.net/index.php?topic=30012.msg295459#msg295459
