Sebectec Canon DSLR
« on: December 16, 2016, 07:40:45 PM »
Recently I started playing with the Sebectec DSLR package.  I am using it only on clear nights so I don't burn it up with too many shutter cycles.  It has taken a while to dial in, but it's getting better.  I'm still learning...   I really like the package so far.

Thought I'd share an opportunity we had the other night.  It captured several meteors and there is a hint of Aurora around midnight.

Thought I'd Share,
Greg

Hi Greg

Looks good! I use a dslr for my timelapses and there is no comparison to a webcam.

Nice!  I watched the one from the 15th as well, was it also done with the Canon?  It has the same overall quality look to it and once the clouds moved off and the moon was up Mt. Baker was plainly visible.

Hi Kevin,
The other video was a combination of both.  I have 3 Olympus SP500's aligned in a panorama and then the Canon which is a little wider angle than the middle Olympus camera.  http://skunkbayweather.com/
