Deceptive advertising?
« on: September 08, 2009, 04:30:42 PM »
On one of my web sites I saw the following Google ad...

2 Rules For Belly Fat
Obey 2 Simple Rules And Lose 9 Lbs Of Fat A Week Guaranteed
www.Wunderground.com

I checked the link and, sure enough, it went to wunderground.com.  Then I saw it on other web sites.  Are they getting into weight loss products?  I'll let others theorize on other answers since I'll get blasted again if I say anything else.   :?

I think all advertising is deceptive one way or another.  I can't stand to see another commercial with small printing at the bottom saying "results not typical"!!!

But trying to get traffic by saying you're offering something other than what your site provides?   :?

The only time I lose weight related to weather is when I have to climb the roof to change the battery in my ISS.  :D

Perhaps there's a "weight control/health" website somewhere with PWS adds? I haven't found one yet. You're absolutely right, nothing to do with each other and makes no sense whatsoever.
