WP 1400 "Not reporting" and Temp spike
« on: August 25, 2017, 09:43:01 AM »
Hey guys, im having issues with my WP 1400. At around 5 am i will get a temp spike along with it saying its "not reporting" to weather underground. I just put in new batteries 36 hours ago. For ambient weather, i had it uploading every minute, ive since changed that to upload every 5 minutes. Is it possible they are dead already? Not sure what the problem is with my station. Thanks for your help guys.

TeamPlayersBlue, You can check your battery condition by connecting to the ObserverIP. Should show 'normal'.

Be safe out there today in Sugarland. I am just north of Spring.

Thank you! It says normal, but ive never seen it not say normal. Have you seen it say something else before? I dont seem to have problems in the daytime, thats why i was thinking battery.

Yeah rain is the big worry Sunday - Monday here.

My original batteries failed in January and then I had -- displayed early in the morning. Also no readings for any of the sensors for the outdoor unit.
