I had thought about getting something like a Dlink or maybe another Logitech and doing the Hubble Fix to it. But, then I realized that I'd need a wireless camera and one I could tie into the existing fence charger battery...if they run off of a 12v plug-in power supply...SHAZAM! cut the cable off the power supply and connect it to the battery. Seems most of the cameras run from 4 to 8 watts...which would be from .33A to around .66A....a noticeable current. I feel that the heaviest draw is probably during the night when the IR is working....I'm no electrical genius, though, so maybe not. Anyhow, it would work better if I had the pv panel and controller set up...something to work towards.
Phil, nice looking images! Keep us posted on their life...
Tony, I just take the fence charger off-line and charge the 24DCM on a regular battery charger...usually at the first of each month.
And, I gotta remind myself sometimes that this is a hobby, not NASA.
