firmware or console and logger

Hello all
I am trying to figure out the version of Firmware on my console and how do I find out the firmware on my data logger?

You can get the firmware date by downloading VPLive from http:www.softwx.com (it's freeware) and briefly running it. It will show the firmware date. Or, you could connect to your console via Windows Hyper Terminal (under Accessories/Communication). Hit the enter key to wake up the console, then type in VER (has to be all caps) and hit enter. You will get the firmware data back from the console.

Thanks for the reply, I should have been more detailed about my equipment.

I have a USB Wireless Vantage Pro 2.

I went to the web link you sent me, however I dont think that software will work on the USB type, then again I have been known to be wrong many times

it will work with USB, but you first need to unset the USBexpress mode if the data logger is set to that
using the cprx210.exe (spelling?) program included with the wlik 5.8.1 installation
