Topic: ws-2080 anemometer maintenance

Winter approaching and I need to do a preventive maintenance to wind cups and vane , since I got ws2080 in july 2012 I replaced them once because they stop working caused by rust and we were in middle of winter so I missed wind data for awhile till parts recieved, I'm thinking to request cups and vane as backup but if there are guideline how to keep them working smooth for example apply anti-rust or lubricating them, please advice
