Marc,

Everyone needs to remember this is a very good $50 camera. Don't expect it to be a good $950 camera. A lot of people in this forum use this camera and I was impressed until I got mine and it wasn't as sharp as I thought others were. After going back to the others I realized that seeing their nice pictures I wasn't nearly as critical of soft focus as I was on my own. Would I buy it again? Yes, until my ship comes in! http://www.smlweather.com/campage.htm

It's a matter of bandwidth usually--how much do you want to use up? It can produce a nice image, but it has to be higher resolution and larger in size. For streaming it has to be lower rez...

It is a bit soft around the edges, but overall, for a Zeiss glass lens, it's a pretty good deal...

I agree with that and I think 50 bucks is right number for it.

Now if I can only talk myself into driving the 45 miles for another one...

Free shipping from Circuit City on orders over $24...

Re: matter of $$$... doesn't matter what you spend, a high resolution image will require bandwidth, especially for streaming. We're about the only country that has such a low upload speed as "standard". Now if we had the gigabit upload capability... we could all stream very nice images...  :-)
