I just recorded 1.87 inches of rain in 40 minutes today.  The normally dry creek behind me is running hard and even the culvert under my driveway in front of my house couldn't keep up and flooded part of the front yard, driveway, and back yard.  hardest rain I've seen in a long time.  We needed it here in Mule Creek, New Mexico.
