VPLive and Live Console Data section
« on: February 15, 2009, 08:17:30 PM »
Under my live console section, I have a barometer calibration section.  Why would mine show -.008?  In the past, I had tried to change my barometer to meet CWOP data.  Long story short, I gave up on that.  Mostly because the closest site is close.  And I've concluded his is just off.

So I was guessing that calibration is a left over.  I'd like to clear it and just go with what it should be.  That's all assuming my guess is right.

Assuming that you were changing the barometer value on the console itself, I believe your assumption is correct.  (I also have a small offset on mine.)

The next time you see a barometer value in VPLive ("Live Sensor Data" section) where the last digit is "2" (xx.xx2 inHg), try increasing the barometer reading on the console by .01" to clear out your offset.
