Need software advice
« on: January 15, 2015, 01:49:52 PM »
I'm currently using a PEET BROS. ULTIMETER 2100 system

It runs OK recording various data at 1 minute intervals. Uploading both TXT and CSV (24 hours Accumilative) files at a 5 minute resolution.

I am at a loss at displaying the data at real time on a web site.

Am using a Win 7 Pro OS to record and update to an APACHE LINUX server

Short of "Inventing the wheel" by using HTML & PHP coding, does anyone know of any software that can do the job for me.

Note. The system came with software :WeatherText" but it doesn't seem to live up to it's name.

Thanks for any help

David

Look at Weather Display. It works with your 2100 and can generate webpages for you. You can also add on the Weather Display Live which show live weather on your website.

Something like this:

It seems to me that the simplest way to put live data on the website would be to upload to weather underground, then put one of their real-time stickers on your site.  That will get you started, and then you can do something more elaborate in due time.

I have one on my page http://www.wattsbarweather.net
