VP2 transmission/solar plastic case broken. Part numbers?
« on: April 17, 2019, 11:34:59 AM »
I have a VP2 purchased November 2014. A tree came down and hit the weather station; the only damage I have noticed is to the plastic case that encloses the transmitter electronics and has the solar panel on the cover. Both the cover and the case itself have large chunks broken off. I'm guessing that a liberal application of epoxy will glue the two chunks back into place and restore the waterproofing, but just in case I thought I would ask what are the part numbers for the enclosure and/or the cover?

I'm fairly sure that the electronics can be removed and placed into a new enclosure. Can the solar panel be removed from the current broken cover and place on the new cover?

Thanks! They have both the rear housing and the front cover. Looks like the solar panel is integrated into the cover.
