Welcome.
Five! I've had my VP2 coming up on 9 years in the Arizona desert, and it plugs along, at least structurally. What are you doing to them and what are you looking for?

I wouldn't know where to start. Most here have had good luck with Davis stations. If you have specific questions fire away.

Have owned two Davis Pro's, both died. Switched to  Vue, had three, the present one is only 13 months old, but the rain gauge is off.

Off?  How did the rain gauge fall off of your Vue?

But seriously, what do you mean by off, and have you cleaned the inside of the Vue?

A better description of location other than "CA" would be useful.  As would a picture or two, showing your Vue installation.

It's really hard for anybody to diagnose "off".

Hey, CooperH:

There's no need to "...sit in the corner..." unless you wanna come sit with the rest of us (ha,ha)!

And, FWIW, there are quite a few "antiques" among us here (including me), who are "knowledgeable" only by virtue of their "burnt fingers" experiences.

As for Gene Kelly, I was about 8 years old when he did that movie...I just 'borrowed' the song title as a double-entendre' euphemism for our monsoon thunderstorms, where people rejoice for the rain here in the Arid-zona desert (wink, wink).

We are not OLD, we are infused with hard earned knowledge we are willing to share! The corner is where a lot of good ideas originate from...

The rain gauge Did NOT FALL OFF, it is off __as in turned off___

I'm 77 if we're counting.  So how did you turn off the rain gauge?

Or, if you mean "not reporting rainfall", have you inspected it to see if something might be preventing the tipping spoon from moving?  [fire ant corpses?].
