I bought a Meade TE636W with the hope of watching the weather plus keeping track of the temp in my hot tub. I have one sensor out side and another under my hot tub with the sesor probe attached to a water line. It does work perfect and I can see both outside temp and hot tub water temp.
I bought this unit because it has alarms for low temp warnings, I want an alarm if the hot tub goes below a certain temp. I have set the alarm acording to the instructions but an alarm never goes off. The other thing I am seeing is it looks like even if I can get the alarm to work it isn't going to be right. It looks like you can not set seperate alarms for each channel, another words if I set a 90deg low temp alarm it would go off if channel 1 or 2 went below that? Right now I just need to get the alarm to work first....
