I just installed P33 and the Total Rain Yearly High date is still showing 2 days ago.  We have had rain every day for quite some time now, so this tag should return today's date.  It seems to be returning today -2 consistently.  I emailed Ed earlier about this and he said he was able to recreate the condition so he was confident of an early fix.  I'll let him know that there is still an issue.

OK.... I got a little impatient.  It works just fine. =D>  It updates on the hourly sweep.  I'm glad I double checked that before emailing Ed again.

I am running V14.00 with a p103 after it and I have a Vantage Pro2 station.  Any suggestions on why I should install the upgrade?  I couldn't really make sense of the technical garble on modifications site.  Thanks.

P37. highs and lows seem to have trouble now, not sure if it is this update or wunderground upgrading there web site. Not sure if I like wunderground changes...
Running P37, will wait for P38 to test or wunderground site may be the cause. I seem to be a time out as it only took 5-10 seconds to update climent and now it takes almost 1 minute now.
NDS Weather

Installed P38 it errors and takes about 30 seconds to download, will not know if it work till after it update after 12:00AM tonight. Will post in the AM

Just got home and went to update to p37 and found that it reads ver. p38. No notations yet as to what has been updated.

Which highs and which lows? In my case, it is reporting my yearly low temp incorrectly.

Sounds kind of like this problem?

Re: Year HI and year LO are all this month in 14.01p43

However, I can't yet tell if mine is actually treating July's high temp and as the year's high temp, because the high temp actually did occur in July. I'll know in August.

Mine hasn't affected the yearly stuff YET. I've hopefully given Ed enough clues to find the problem. But the fact that it didn't start until today is strange too. I've been running this version for at least two weeks.

Also, I run WD and it has all the correct values.

I restart my weather computer every day at the same time. That's the only way I can get real stability out of all the different pieces of weather software I run.

Another thing to try is playing with your CPU resource settings under Program Settings.  If it is on Low, set it to High or vice versa.  This has cleared up some lockup issues for me in the past.

I reboot every 24 hours using Task Scheduler. I only have 1 or 2 lockup issues per month now.

Once I started doing re-starts, I've never had any problem with lockups since.

I run VWS, WD, Sebectec, CWOP, and Fling on that box with 1GB of memory, and it now works like a champ.

My old version, 14-something, had once again begun to just stop responding on a daily basis.

I just updated yesterday to version 15.0.  So far it has kept running but it's too soon to tell.
Did they change anything that might address VWS's tendency to just stop working??

I'm still on version 14.00 p87 and it's working fine, so see no reason to upgrade at the moment. My motto has always been, "If it aint broke' don't mend it".  \:D/
