Rapid Fire wrong temp data by 0.1c
« on: December 31, 2010, 07:00:45 AM »
I was using the webcam sticker with latest details on my website but i changed to Rapid Fire. I have found Rapid Fire to show 0.1c lower than the actual temp. So using cumulus as my software latest condition shows e.g 7.4c and 7.3c in Rapid Fire. is there any way to fix this inaccuracy???

This might be due to Davis working natively in °F.
So there's a little rounding up or down going on to show °C
You can set your Wunderground sticker to show both and it can be revealing particularly arund freezing point as sometimes it will show 0°C and sometimes -0°C.
You could even make the argument that working in °F gives you better resolution

I never thought of that, great point. Actually my dad lived in the states for 6 years and he still asks me what the Celsius reading is in Fahrenheit
