AnythingWeather: what happended to WXDATAPOST.ASP?
« on: September 07, 2016, 02:40:46 AM »
It seems that AnythingWeather changed the format for uploading weather data to their system. For years I've used the following format: http://www.anythingweather.com/feeds/load/WXDATAPOST.ASP?username=xxx&password=xxxxx&version=1&WXData=2016%2D09%2D06+22:56:12%2C59.7%2C0%2C83%2C29.88%2C180%2C0%2C0%2C%2C%2C0%2C%0D

It stopped working a while ago, though. Someone from AnythingWeather mentioned doing FTP uploads? Seriously? They want one to post their weather data via FTP now?

Kevin...we are in the middle of server and software changes and fixing the HTTP Post that was working for you before is not yet complete.  FTP would work as a quick fix.  We plan to update the http post uploads soon, but all other posts work fine except yours, so spending development time to repair a single feed does not make sense right now.  We will fix this is you want to wait till the new uploading is ready...or we can work the FTP as I already discussed with you offline.
