Earlier this week my Bloomsky stopped work. I've been running it of the AC adapter since, like, forever.
Anyway the problem was the AC adapter, so I found an old adapter with similar specs to replace it. All I had to do is cut and splice it to the jack from the old power adapter.
(FYI, the original adapter is 12V DC and rated at 2 Amps. I only had a 1 1/2 Amp supply handy, but it seems to be working OK)
What's interesting is that I first went to the Bloomsky site to see how much an "official" power adapter cost.... 0$
Figuring that was an error, I emailed Bloomsky to get the "real" price.
It is $0! You're just responsible for the $19 shipping.
