Getting back into the weather hobby
« on: June 18, 2016, 08:01:02 PM »
I had a Davis Vantage pro2 cabled station for years, but due to moving and damage to the station's anemometer.  It never got put back into service.  I recently moved again and bought a new wireless vantage pro2 wireless.  I am waiting for my data logger to come in beings the guys at Davis made the new console not compatible with my old logger, but conveniently offer a upgrade change out for $50.  The ISS will remain mounted on the post, which is sunk 4 foot into the ground.  I plan on relocating the anemometer to a radio tower once I get it put up.  For now my 21 foot mast will have to do.  Also I hope to make another topic about adding a ground temperature sensor to my station when it gets closer to winter time.
