Nice, it also seems like the ISS will be quite exposed to the Sun so it will be interesting how effective the radiation shield is, do you have FARS?

Now that's a pole! Let's hope on calm, sunny days the roof won't radiate into the ISS.

Ah.  Summer will tell.  It gets hot here and we usually end up under a high pressure dome that doesn't allow any rain at all.

I assume that you will remove those muffler clamps when you have to do maintenance on the ISS?   You know that the data you get from that setup is for your use only.     the data will be skewed for anyone who lives on the ground.

here is a good reference:

Could explain better your question?  Muffler Clamps?

Those clamps you used to connect the two pieces of pipe together .  Out here we call them Muffler clamps.  U-Bolts
I suppose there is a technical term for them.   I guess you would loosen the clamps, let the unit slide down to the ground and then cleaning out the rain gauge of stuff,  the ISS Battery and any other goodies that happen in live.  Definitely I would use a drain screen in that cone and bird spikes around and in the cone

You have the thing mounted way up in the sky.  correct sitting of a weather station, you can have the wind unit up that high, but the whole ISS, would be incorrectly placed .  That is why I posted the reference for that situation.  YOur results could be either warmer or colder than standing on the ground.  Anyway,  my take on it. YOur station, Enjoy it.  It is a lot of fun.

Ah, they are called U Bolts and yes they would have to be loosened in order to perform maintenance.  There is a drain screen in there.

Do you have the bird spikes on there as well.

No but I probably should.  I'll look into adding them soon.
