Hi,
I've checked the plotted locations of each of your weather stations using this URL,
http://www.findu.com/cgi-bin/find.cgi?call=CWxxxx and each of your designators (CW8618, CW8617, CW8616, CW8614, CW8611, CW8607, CW8596, CW8594, CW8593, CW8592, CW8589, CW8584, CW8579, CW8573, CW8570, CW8549, CW8526) and found they were all reasonably close to the "nearby town" that each of you indicated. If I've made an error, let me know as I've attached your station information to the APRSWXNETStation.txt that controls things. That file is loaded under item 2 on this page,
http://www.wxqa.com/memberlists.html Or you can use this search tool to search the member lists,
http://www.wxqa.com/search.htm Look over your entry and make sure that I have things the way you want. Latitude and longitude is in decimal degrees and elevation is in meters. The APRS format can locate to within about 20 meters. If you readjust the lat/long numbers, be sure and tell me so I can update the CWOP database which is different from the findu database.
Your data should show up on the NOAA mesonet map web page on Wednesday afternoon after the weekly update which starts at 1500 UTC Tuesday.
If your weather station is located in North America, after this Wednesday, your data will be quality checked by the MADIS system and the hourly results available here. The QC results can be e-mailed to you. There is also an e-mail reflector QC discussion group. See item # 1 on this page,
http://www.wxqa.com/aprswxnetqc.html Your data are more useful to users, such as the NWS, if forecasters can see how your sensors are sited. Instructions on how to take and upload images are here,
http://mywebpages.comcast.net/brookevilleweather/flickr_setup.html Check this link for system status and other CWOP news (RSS feed is available there),
http://www.wxqa.com/news.html Here's an access form for all of the CWOP data. Note that the last item in the shortform list (check/server) can be used to check the status of aprs-is servers.
http://www.wxqa.com/shortform.html Use the link below if you'd like to download the logo,
http://wxqa.com/archive/cwp_logo.gif Here is a 2.2 Mbyte pdf file of a CWOP Guide on aspects of weather station operation that was prepared by Dave Helms (CW0351),
http://mywebpages.comcast.net/dshelms/CWOP_Guide.pdf If you have any questions, please contact me or Dave Helms (CW0351) in cc above. If you should change your e-mail address, let one of us know.

Note: If you get an error message like "Socket error" or something similar when you try to connect and send data to one of the servers, then check this URL,
http://www.wxqa.com/checkservers.html to see which servers are up and working. Then go to this URL,
http://www.wxqa.com/activecwd.html and under item # 2 select one of the working servers and change your software to use that server.
