hi i found this Whos Online and started to add to my site but i ran in some mysql problem as im running php 7.0 and i look on here for a update and i found one

i replace the files and got a nother error

did you create a database and user account for the script?

and yh that what ive downloaded and replaced
I think there was a fix for this somewhere out on the net. I know there was about 4-5 files released with fixes a few years back. lemme check....
*Whos-Online.zip make a backup of your files first and see if this fixes it.
The other issue is this script will need a re-write most as the geolite dat file has stopped and a new version will take its place.

geolite update will not work with the new format. so the the data will be outdated somewhat.
the only other way would be to get a similar app

then make available some of the pages available for users I guess.
Unless someone takes of whos-online script it will probably die out soon enough since php is changing and whos online was not designed for newer versions.

hi ive been reading about matomo and it look more niceer then who-one line so i going for that one i think just a question i have google analytics do you think this is better? or haveing both at the same time ?

Matomo does have a cloud services too though I think the local install is just as good. Google analytics is ok but not sure if you can display its data to users on your website.

yh i wood like to display its data to users on your website but im still looking for how to do that? and have you got it one your site mate?

you setup a user to have view access (or annoymous) they dont see the configuration side of it.
I'm in the process of adding it. maybe sometime till is setup correctly.
there is also Widgets that you can add too.

You'll need to add botchecker too as default does not track bots. Goto market place and install from there.
Also extended crawler list is here you can import.

dont have any subdomains. not sure tbh weather I like it or not yet. I may try a few more too.
