Hello... Since there seem to be a good number of RainWise owners on this board, I was curious. Where are you all from? What town and State? I'm from Cambridge, Ohio. Also do you have a photo or two of your set up? Thanks!!

Look at posting members profile when posting on RainWise topic and CWOP station ID. for much of this information.

Beautiful Grants Pass, Oregon, here!

RainWise MK-III with the Weather Oracle MK III and MKIIICC computer interface.

Other items on the pole are the TV antenna and wireless network link to my webcam on the mountain it's aimed at in the background.  I've since added another webcam below the wireless network dish (picture was taken a few months ago).

Hi Paul... Question... Is the weather information on your web site coming from your Rainwise? Do you have more than one type of station? Thanks!

Hi Don.

Yes, all the live weather is from my MK-III-LR, using a cc-3000 data logger. I have set up a second site - www.millisweather.com, which is where I am currently located (basically a clone of my Medfield site).  My new location is only 4 miles from where I was so I have kept my original site active since there are a many folks in town that reference it. Still settling in at the new place  ;)

I'd be VERY NERVOUS with the weight up there and strong winds. If he reads this post I'd be curious as to what his highest gust since putting the station up there has been. Thanks!

Hi
the mast can got to 20m, but i only extend to about 15m. this the head is level with the surrounding trees. it does move around in the wind, but with gust up to 565+ mph, it has stood this very well. there is an option for guy wires, but i have not gone for this. i got the mast from a company called 'total mast solutions' here in the uk.

the station is down at the moment, due to atechnical issue. i am having to return parts to rainwise, so hopefully be back in opperation soon.
