This was an abstract really but it mentioned that "tracking these storm-generated seismic signals may allow seismologists to detect large hurricanes at sea and monitor their intensity. It can also add usefull data to the discussion of whether anthropogenic global warming has increased the frequency and intensity of hurricanes and tropical storms, including those that don't reach land".
I wish they showed some data as well. They only mentioned the names of the scientists from Northwestern University. I think I will have to Google this later tonight when I have more time.
