Pollen changing my precipitation count?
« on: May 12, 2015, 06:51:39 AM »
This morning was a tough measurement.  The meniscus was clearly between .01 and .02 inches of rain, but clearly almost .02.  The water was yellow with pollen.  I chose to report .02 but I wonder if the pollen is affecting the reading.  My Rainwise had one bucket tip last night and reports .01".

LOL I currently own a red car...some days it looks red when I walk up to it...but once I'm sitting behind the wheel I noticed the hood is YELLOW:shock:  I sure am glad I don't have allergies!

OTOH, beekeepers love pollen season (and so do the bees!).
