New Weather Website
« on: January 10, 2017, 02:36:34 PM »
Hi all

I've had my trusty Saratoga website for over three years and have recently updated.

It's a great template and I would highly reccomend.

Look forward to hearing any comments you may have.

Kind regards

John

Hi John, nice to be honest!  But that link gets me to a Meteotemplate page ;)   something gone wrong?

p.s. Looks good but looks like you may have the menu icon bug?

Hi Paul

Thanks for your input.  The link should lead to a forwarding page to end up here http://www.rushden-weather.co.uk/template/indexDesktop.php

I'm monitoring it for a few weeks before permanent tansfering it to my web server root directory.

I've heard of the menu icon bug. Is there an easy fix?

Kind regards

John

Hi John,

http://meteotemplate.com/blog/?p=1614

also, you don´t need to transfer it to the root, in fact it is probably better to leave it in a subfolder since it makes your server more flexible - you can have other folders for other stuff should you ever decide to also upload something else on your server.

If you go here:
http://www.meteotemplate.com/web/wiki/wiki3GB.php

and click the "Note to Apache..." the second half of the text shows you how to do the redirect automatically.
