comparison of weather station hardware
« on: December 21, 2015, 11:49:09 AM »
here is a comprehensive listing of hardware configurations and capabilities:

http://weewx.com/hwcmp.html

the listing includes more than 35 distinct families of hardware, each of which is capable of communicating with a computer for logging, publishing, etc.  some hardware is fairly recent, others date back to the early 1990s.  if you find mistakes or wish to see additional hardware listed, please post to the weewx user group as indicated at the top if the hardware comparison page.

fwiw, these listings are a bit crufty, but still relevant:

there is also an ancient wxforum topic about hardware listings, but the listings in that topic are rather out-of-date or are simply vendor catalog pages:

moderators, would you consider making this topic sticky?

The RainWise data is incomplete, LR range, no mention of the IP-100 network interface.
