GRLevel3 manual?
« on: August 17, 2014, 12:12:21 PM »
I was interested in the GRLevel3 radar and installed it. It seemed to be working okay, but I was unable to get questions answered. Partially because there in no manual and secondly because I signed up for the forum but never heard anything back authorizing my request to get onto the forum.

I finally uninstalled it as the evaluation time was almost up.   :!:

So I guess my big questions are:
  • Is the any technical support for the GRLevel3 radar script?
  • How does a person get approved to get onto the GRLevel3 forum? (I did apply using their form)
No way am I paying the license fee for GRLevel3 radar if there is no support for the product.

Does anyone have information on my concerns??? :-k

Yes, I have read it, but it is very, very generic. There are a ton of options in GRLevel3 Radar and this brief "manual", if you can call it that, does very little to answer any questions. It seems like any product that cost $79.95 should have something better than that one page online and far better (than non-existent)  tech support.  I sure don't understand the forum they supposedly have when you can't get registered on it. I may like the GRLevel3 Radar, but for the $79.95 I want support.  #-o

I remember it took me a couple try's to get in. Just keep trying you'll get in.
As for a manual, the link above is it for GR3 2.0. There are several more in depth manuals for 1.X but since I don't have 2.0 I don't know how different they are.
Most people just visit this forum or other weather forums when trying to get help. It should have a better help file but the payoff is that it is an outstanding product but there is a learning curve.
Good luck.
