Topic: Saratoga Template - CityURL and MetroURL

Now that Weather Underground re-did their site, anyone know how to generate the CityURL and MetroURL defintions in the WU-radar-inc.php file?

The given instructions say to : right click on 'View/Save this image' and copy URL to clipboard

Except that option doesn't seem to be there any longer.

I am going to www.wunderground.com
I click on "Maps & Radar" at the top and select NEXRAD Radar
I can lasso an area to zoom in on and that works.
Just doesn't seem to be a way to grab a URL that points to that view of the map.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Just a shot in the dark, I see that on their new site when I view our "local radar" there is a link to save the image, upper right hand corner next to the "Like" button.  On my Firefox (v18) that opens the image and you can then grab the url.

Maybe give that a try, again a shot in the dark.

Edit - try right clicking on that same link and it allows you to copy link location.

It's a start --- it gives me the entire map, not the Metro and/or City part I zoomed in on.

Looking at this again this morning.

Here is one of the "older stylepages" that has the ability to save the zoomed levels.

Need to try and find this sort of page for your area?

Edit - The "save this image" link in lower left of the radar image.  I tried it with a zoom and it worked.
